Parish Institutions and Groups
Many groups and committees support the life and mission of our parish. Through prayer, leadership, and service, they help strengthen and sustain our community. Learn more below about the people, groups, and ministries that help shape parish life at St Joseph.
Rosary Prayer Group
The Rosary Prayer Group gathers at 9am, Monday to Saturday before Mass, to pray together and entrust the needs of the parish, the Church, and the wider world to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through meditation on the mysteries of Christ’s life, members deepen their devotion and grow in faith.
First Friday & First Saturday Devotion Group
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary is nurtured through the observance of First Fridays and First Saturdays. The group encourages regular reception of the Sacraments and a life of prayer centred on love, mercy, and conversion, with an All Night Vigil held each month from Friday evening through Saturday morning.
Blessed Sacrament & Adoration Group
Times of Eucharistic Adoration are organised and supported to foster deeper reverence and love for the Eucharist. Parishioners are invited to spend time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, with Adoration taking place on Thursdays from 10am–11am and 6.30pm–7.30pm.
Parish Finance Committee
The Parish Finance Committee supports the parish priest in the careful stewardship of parish finances and resources. Its work promotes transparency, accountability, and responsible management in service of the parish’s mission.
Parish Pastoral Council
Working in collaboration with the parish priest, the Parish Pastoral Council reflects on the needs of the community and helps guide the pastoral direction of the parish. It supports the spiritual, pastoral, and missionary growth of St Joseph.
